From dark horse in golf wear to a standout ‘WAAC’… “WOW” at the World Golf Expo

 

[News Space=Reporter seungwon lee] Contemporary performance golf wear brand WAAC has successfully completed its participation in the 2025 PGA Merchandise Show.

 

Wax participated in the '2025 PGA Merchandise Show (hereinafter referred to as the PGA Show)' held in Orlando, Florida, USA from January 21st to 24th (local time).

 

The PGA Show is the world's largest golf trade show hosted by the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA). It is a place where over 1,000 global golf companies participate and interact with golf professionals from around the world.

 

Wax selected 'red' as the main color for this season and applied it to the booth design and the 2025 collection. The 25F/W collection, which was first unveiled under the theme of 'Return to Festivals and Parties in the Field', reflected the retro mood of the 1980s and presented products that reinterpreted vintage classic sensibility with a modern sensibility.

 

This year, considering the climate of the US market, mid-layer products that can be used between outerwear and innerwear, and T-shirts made of cool materials were newly released as a North American-only line, creating a differentiated lineup from last year. In particular, products with US-only size specifications developed for entering the US market received a great response from buyers who visited the booth.

 

In the case of the booth, the interior reflected the American vintage mood, focusing on the seasonal color red. Through the space composition that showed the brand's individuality and sensibility more clearly, the cheerful and lively image of WAX was clearly imprinted on the visitors.

 

Supertrain CEO Kim Yoon-kyung said, “The PGA Show is an important opportunity to demonstrate and expand WAX’s global influence,” and added, “This year, we plan to further establish ourselves as a global brand by expanding our overseas distribution network using WAX’s product competitiveness as our weapon.”

 

Meanwhile, WACK is actively seeking opportunities to enter overseas markets, including participating in the 25th PGA Show, expanding its distribution strategies in the North American market, and entering new ASEAN countries.

 

In particular, the United States is one of the major countries where the golf apparel market is expected to continue to grow at an average of more than 4.9% per year from 2025 to 2033 due to the increasing influx of new golfers and increasing consumer preference for premium sportswear.

 

Currently, WAX has expanded into 12 major countries including the United States, Japan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
