Finance also supports the growth of Korea's aerospace and defense industry... KB Kookmin Bank and KAI join hands for 1 trillion won of mutually beneficial cooperation

[News Space=Reporter seungwon lee] On the 11th, Kookmin Bank (CEO Hwan-Joo Lee) signed a business agreement for ‘mutual cooperation and joint development’ with KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd., CEO Gu-Young Kang).

The signing ceremony held at the new building of KB Kookmin Bank in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul was attended by KAI President Kang Gu-young, KB Kookmin Bank President Lee Hwan-joo, and officials from both organizations.

This agreement was prepared to strengthen competitiveness in the aerospace sector, a key national industry, support entry into the global market, and establish a mutual cooperation system between the two organizations.

According to this agreement, the financial support that Kookmin Bank will provide to KAI is up to KRW 1 trillion. It will provide financial solutions for projects conducted by KAI, such as ▲Future business investment support ▲Export finance ▲Loans for operating funds related to exports, imports, and facility investments. In addition, it plans to practice win-win finance with small and medium-sized enterprises through financial support for joint growth targeting KAI's partner companies.

KAI President Kang Gu-young said, “Since the aerospace industry is a field that requires high technological prowess and long-term investment, stable financial support is very important,” and “We expect that this agreement will further strengthen the foundation for future business investment and global market expansion.”

Lee Hwan-joo, President of Kookmin Bank, said, “I am deeply honored to have signed an agreement with KAI, which has been leading the aerospace and defense industry in Korea,” and added, “I hope that this will become a cornerstone for going beyond simple financial support to enhance the competitiveness of Korea’s aerospace industry and achieve sustainable growth together.”
