[News Space=Reporter seungwon lee] LS Group Chairman Koo Ja-eun visited the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition 'CES 2025' for two days from the 8th to the 9th, continuing her streak from last year, to directly experience various new technologies and new products that incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and explore new business opportunities utilizing them.

Previously, the next-generation superconducting innovation solution 'HyperGrid NX' jointly developed by LS Cable & System and LS Electric won the 'CES Innovation Award', and HyperGrid NX has the advantage of being able to smoothly supply electricity without building additional substations in urban areas as it can transmit large amounts of electricity at low voltage.

This year's CES was attended by not only the former chairman, but also around 20 people, including Vice Chairman Myung-Noh Hyun of LS Corporation, SPSX (Superior Essex) CEO Chang-Hee Choi, CSOs (Chief Strategy Officers) of major affiliates such as LS Cable & System, LS Electric, and LS MnM, and 'LS Futurists' who presented excellent new business ideas and research results for the group last year.

On the first day, Chairman Koo first visited Eureka Park, where innovative technologies of ventures and startups are concentrated, and on the 9th, he carefully looked around the exhibition halls of leading domestic companies such as LG, Samsung, and SK, as well as global advanced companies such as TCL, Hisense, and Panasonic, showing great interest in AI technology that has permeated our daily lives in all aspects.

Chairman Koo told the executives and employees who attended the event that this year’s CES can be defined as “MAGA, or Make All Great with AI,” adding that “AI and software, not hardware, are now the key driving forces transforming our daily lives and industries across the board.”

He also mentioned the case of Japanese companies that were once world-class but have now given way to LG, Samsung, etc., and said, “Now, Chinese companies are threatening domestic companies with their technological superiority in many fields, not just hardware.” He ordered, “CSOs and LS Futurists who have access to advanced global technologies should have a sense of crisis and urgency, and ensure that LS’s products and solutions can be linked with AI technology.”

Meanwhile, this year's CES was attended by approximately 4,800 companies and organizations from 160 countries around the world, and approximately 1,000 domestic companies participated, directly confirming their global competitiveness in the cutting-edge industry.
