AI로 태양 활동을 읽다…경진대회 구조와 의의 이번 대회는 KAIST 소프트웨어 교육센터와 협력해 대학생 및 대학원생을 대상으로 진행된다. 예선(7~11일)은 천문지식 퀴즈와 천문 데이터 레이블링 점수를 합산해 상위 30팀을 본선에 진출시킨다. 본선(21일부터 5일간)은 GPU 환경에서 천문 AI 알고리즘 성능을 겨루며, 최종 5팀이 한국천문연구원장상과 포상금을 받는다. 이 대회는 SpaceAI 프로그램의 일환으로, 우주과학기술 분야에 AI를 접목해 실제 연구 현장에 적용 가능한 인재와 솔루션을 발굴하는 데 목적이 있다.
