[NewsSpace=JeongYoung Kim] Samsung today announced that the company hosted its flagship career fair and networking event Tech & Career (T&C) Forum in London, United Kingdom, as part of continuous efforts to secure global talent and further strengthen the firm’s technological competitiveness on a global level.
The Tech & Career Forum is a career fair where Samsung SDI’s top executives meet with students from top-rated schools across the globe to share the company’s vision and recruit global top talent. The event was held for the third time this year, following previous ones in Boston and Seoul in August.
The event invited more than 60 master's degree and Ph.D. students and industry experts from leading universities in Europe, including Cambridge and Oxford universities in the UK, TU Munich in Germany, and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPEL).
To greet the participants, Samsung SDI’s top management staff including President and CEO Yoon-ho Choi, Executive Vice President (EVP) and head of R&D Center Yoon-chang Kim, and Yong-Lak Joo, Executive Vice President (EVP) and head of Advanced Material flew to London and took part in the event.

The event included ‘Vision Talk,’ an engagement session between CEO Yoon-ho Choi and attendees, a keynote speech by the head of the R&D Center, and tech session led by the heads of key sectors of technological development.
In addition, a dedicated exhibition was set up at the entrance of the venue to showcase the company’s flagship products and next-generation batteries, allowing attendees to explore Samsung SDI's technological capabilities.
In the Vision Talk, CEO Choi gave candid and genuine answers to a series of questions about Samsung SDI's leadership and vision, future investment plans for next-generation battery research, and the skills needed to be a CEO.
During the tech session, Samsung SDI's key R&D executives presented on the theme of change and the future, covering topics from Samsung SDI's R&D achievements and strategies to future technologies related to AI. Attendees were able to choose their own topics of interest and engage in a free-flowing Q&A session with Samsung SDI executives.
Samsung SDI has been actively securing global talent since 2022 through the T&C Forum. The company plans to continue to hold the event to attract global talent and strengthen its network with the world’s most accomplished people.
