Since its launch in 1974, cumulative sales have exceeded 50 billion units, and cumulative sales have far exceeded 8 trillion won. With cumulative sales of 5.5 trillion won, which is 67% of the total, overseas alone, it has proven itself to be a true representative global brand of Korea. This is an unprecedented achievement even in the domestic food industry.

 

Orion Choco Pie has captured the taste buds of people all over the world with its unique and inimitable product power, and has become the driving force behind Orion's growth into a global food company. Based on the global business capabilities it has built up over several decades, it is at its peak with its localization strategy, such as launching new products that are in line with the culture and trends of each country.

 

Orion Choco Pie's unique emotional identity, 'Jeong (情),' has also been effective in establishing itself not only in the domestic market but also in the global market. In Russia, demand is high, with 1.6 billion Choco Pies sold last year, accounting for 40% of global Choco Pie sales. It produces and sells the largest number of Choco Pies (12 types) among overseas corporations, including products using jam that reflects local food culture.

 

In India, the company is also advancing into the market through localization strategies, such as introducing differentiated products that combine strawberries, the most preferred fruit by locals, and mangoes, the most consumed fruit.
