[News Space=Reporter seungwon lee] Global total medical aesthetics company Hugel Co., Ltd.'s own clinical derma cosmetic brand 'WELLAGE' has officially entered Costco Canada. This is the company's first offline market entry into North America.
The product being sold is Wellage's Real Hyaluronic Blue 100 Ampoule' planning set, which has been recognized for its excellent moisturizing effect and quick-drying improvement effect since its launch in 2020, and has become a brand steady seller both domestically and internationally.
In Korea, it is continuously growing through online and offline channels such as Olive Young, Coupang, and Musinsa, and entered Costco Korea in the second half of last year. It is also continuously expanding its presence in overseas markets such as China, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and other Asian countries as well as Amazon in the United States.
Costco, a global mega-distributor, is expected to serve as a full-fledged bridgehead for Wellage's entry into the North American beauty market by entering offline stores in three major cities in Western Canada, Vancouver, Calgary, and Kelowna, following its online mall in the United States this year.
A representative of Hugel said, “Following strong sales in major Asian countries, we expect to increase the awareness and trustworthiness of the Well-Age brand through our first offline entry into the North American market,” adding, “We will continue to promote the strengths of K-beauty and solidify the Well-Age brand’s position in global online and offline channels.”
