Chairman Chung is the first domestic figure that US President-elect Trump has met with since his victory in the presidential election last month.

Chairman Chung met with domestic media correspondents at Atlanta International Airport in Georgia, USA on the 21st (local time) and said, “I met President-elect Trump. We talked for about 10 to 15 minutes. I also had a meal with President-elect Trump.”

Regarding the content of the conversation, he replied, “I don’t think it would be appropriate to disclose the content of the conversation,” and “I asked him many questions, but I think it would be better not to discuss specifics.”

On the 17th (local time), Chairman Chung spent time with President-elect Trump's eldest son, Trump Jr., and had a meal at the President-elect Trump's private residence, Mar-a-Lago Resort in Palm Beach, Florida, USA. It is known that this visit was made possible at the invitation of Trump Jr. in October. Chairman Chung and Trump Jr. are so close that they call each other "bro," and it is known that this is the third time they have met this year. 

Chairman Chung was originally scheduled to stay for 3 nights and 4 days, but his stay was extended to 5 nights and 6 days. Chairman Chung did not disclose the specific content of his conversation with President-elect Trump. It is reported that Chairman Chung was introduced to several American figures through Trump Jr. during his stay at the Mar-a-Lago resort.
